The Story
Behind
the Sip

A small-batch juice line born from sharing ginger shots with friends

It all began with a morning ritual on vacation in Denmark. Every breakfast buffet greeted us not just with coffee, but with vibrant, spicy ginger shots. We fell in love with the Danish approach to wellness—it isn't a chore there; it's a lifestyle built on hygge (comfort) and intentional health.

I couldn't stop talking about that morning 'zing' once we landed back in Toronto. Seeing my obsession, my partner gifted me a juicer and it has been non-stop juicing since.

What started as a simple recipe quickly grew into something more. I began bottling small batches for the women I'd traveled with and bringing "shift-starter" bottles into work. At the time, it wasn't a business; it was just a way to pass on a feeling of wellness to the friends and family.

Everything changed when a coworker said the magic words: "I'd buy a bottle of this." I loved the idea of becoming a modern-day "milk woman" for juice. I wanted to move away from single-use plastics and toward a sustainable cycle of community: Sip, Return, Repeat.

Since then, word of mouth has been my only marketing, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Staying referral-based means I'm never just dropping off a product; I'm meeting my neighbours and building real connections. Every delivery is a chance for a quick chat and a personal touch—from my kitchen to your front door.
